Eligibility Criteria:
MS/MSc/M.Tech degree in physics/physical chemistry/biophysics/applied mathematics/computer science (or in any related engineering and science field with comprehensive course works in applied mathematics/physics/probability & statistics) with minimum 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.00/10. Experience of coding in C/C++/FORTRAN. The candidate should be strongly motivated to pursue mathematical calculations and code writing in an interdisciplinary environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified national level exams (NET, GATE, JEST etc.), but do not have financial support from an independent fellowship.

This position is purely temporary co-terminus with the tenure of the relevant sponsored project. Under no circumstances regularization of the services of the concerned appointee in the Institute within the sponsored project framework will take place. In case the performance of the selected candidate is not found satisfactory, the fellowship shall be terminated at any stage of the project tenure.
